Pace Parkway is a thriving and energetic community of  instructors, educators, and consultants who partner with our consumers to create the best possible person centered day program experience.  

 

Individuals have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of learning opportunities adapted to every learning style. Among our class offerings are: Science, Art, Cooking, Health and Wellness, Gardening, Music, and Sign Language. New classes are added throughout the year.  In addition, we offer on-site skill building classes taught by an Adult Education teacher.

Community inclusion is a sterling value here at Parkway. Our participants enjoy trips to local parks, volunteering at the Food Bank, library visits, and field trips to the Mondavi Center in Davis to appreciate live performances. We are constantly looking for new opportunities to explore our community. We are invested in celebrating the diversity of our community through celebration and education.

Pace Parkway also contributes to the community through employment. With the support of their job coaches, Parkway participants fulfill their potential as employees at a number of job sites and businesses in the area. Currently, we staff operations at Recology Vacaville and the Dixon Recycling Center. A highlight of the year is representing Recology and Pace Solano in the Annual Fiesta Day parade.
